Annual Weather

Peb January 2013

Two main seasons :

Dry season from March to December - It rains very little in the south of the island. At the end of the year, nature is very dry and arid. We rather go out with horses in the late afternoon or early morning.

Green season or "rainy" season (mid-December / late February): rainy is a big word for such season. It 's actually raining a bit in the south of the island (but much less than in its neighbor Bali). Rainfalls can be intense especially in the late afternoon (between 16h and 18h) and at night last an hour or two (and not every day... far from it.).However It can rain,  up to 5 or 6 consecutive days (once or twice per season).

The best travel guide
Peb March 2013

TIP: They just published a new edition of "Natural Guide" to help you explore Bali, Lombok and other Sunda Islands. This is a personal recommendation, we know all the travel guides for the region, and we believe that this is the best... But of courses, we assume no responsibility for any bad experience.

This is a lavishly illustrated guide, updated regularly (unlike the Rough Guide or Lonely Planet) which offers eco-responsible choices and real places. You can find it on Amazon by clicking on the link below :
