Depending on the time of arrival, you'll see the horses and discover their personnality. Possibly, you'll try them according to your level (basics...). Trail rides will allow you to discover the different aspects of this region which has a generous nature and majestic scenery : vast and deserted white sand beaches, primeval forests, hills (where you'll discover vast panoramas), rice paddies, mangrove lagoon, but also traditional villages farmers or fishermen whom you'll share life. Everywhere the way they welcome horses and riders is warm, even if there is no equestrian tradition in Indonesia...
Excursion 5. Other Sasak villages, Nyale hills and Serenting beach (2:00)
Day of discovery of the two aspects of the region ( Kuta, south Lombok) : Sasak villages and deserted beaches. We'll reach the beach of Serenting crossing charming little fishermen villages along the lagoon.
After a gallop on the wide beach of Serenting (picture on the left), we will climb the Mount Nyale to admire the sunset at the west but also the point of view on all the beaches of the East. Then we'll return home by the beaches of Kuta and Nyale.
Excursion 6. The ascent of Mont Batik Bantar (2:30)
Mount Bantar Batik is a culmination of a series of bays in the area of Kuta. From its summit you can admire the vast panorama that encompasses virtually every beaches of the area. It takes a bit more than an hour to reach Mount Batik Bantar by fields and hills inlands.
We'll spend some time to "enjoy" the landscape. Return by the road along the lagoon, the groundnut fields, the rice paddies and the beach of Serenting (2:30). EXCLUSIVE ! At kuta Horses, our only desire is to organize trail rides jor individuals or small groups (3 or 4 riders maximum) to preserve the tranquility of nature, Sasak people and... riders. It is so nice to feel alone with his horse in an unspoiled nature. A privilege which is so rare these days...

Excursion 7. Horses bath in the lagoon (morning or evening, depending on the tide) (2:00)
For this wonderful moment of pleasure (for horses and also for riders), we'll reach the beach of Serenting in the morning or in the late afternoon; it will depend on the tide. Once there, we will remove saddles to ride bareback and "dive" into the waves of the shallow lagoon. All horses love water. We'll let the horses dry and spend some time to drink before selling againand to come back home throught the beaches of Kuta.
The Sasaks use small horses to pull colored carts (called cidomos). This big horses remain for them a great attraction. There is no equestrian tradition in Lombok (only some bupati (chiefs of regions) horses are sometimes used for their parades).
